I just got word from my local police station that I have been approved for a Class A (unrestricted) LTC. I’m pretty sure I understand how that different licenses work, but before I go out and purchase my first handgun, I want to make sure I don’t do something I’m not allowed to do. As far as I can tell, the Class A (unrestricted) means that I can legally carry a concealed firearm in MA. Am I correct in my interpretation of the law?
Stiggy-
Really dude?
Thank you Captain Obvious.
Thanks to Stiggy we have now established that someone needs a license to carry a firearm…awesome.
Again, my question was whether or not a Class A unrestricted firearms license legally entitles someone to carry a concealed weapon in MA.
Thanks

Yes you can legally carry a concealed firearm in Massachusetts. Long as it is on the approved firearms roster and is registered.
i think you’ll find carrying any gun without a licence is illegal…
