if anyone can tell me if i am breaking any laws by carrying my gun in my hip holster with a loaded magazine WITH-OUT(not loaded) a bullet in the camber when i am traveling in my car. is that in plain view?

This shall not apply to any pistol or revolver located in plain view whether it is loaded or unloaded. A firearm may be concealed legally in a motor vehicle so long as the weapon is disassembled or unloaded. "
if it is on the outside of my hip(open carry) then is it legal?
