Which firearm should I purchase out of the two?

Okay, here’s my dilemma. I have paid for my conceal carry license and bought this nice 0 leather conceal carry jacket and now have the money to buy the smith&wesson bodyguard .38 special revolver that I feel fulfills my needs in a conceal carry firearm, especially in size and weight. Well, now that I have the opportunity to finally get it, I’m wondering if I should get the Taurus ultralite .44 magnum instead (which I also really like) for my open carry gun while I hunt in grizzly bear inhabited forests, and could also use it for home defense with .44 specials. I love both these guns and intend on owning both eventually. I feel like I have more chances into running into wolves, cougars, or grizzly’s while hunting with my 30-06 rifle than having someone attack me in public, but I already have put a lot of money towards my conceal carry permit and jacket. Which firearm do you think I should go for first? I have it down to both of these because they are in my price range and like them both, and have their own special purposes. What do I look for in a hunting rifle?

I know nothing about rifles, I was invited to go hunt elk. I really want to get into it but I just don’t know a thing. I want a bolt action rifle and heard tikka t3 is good plus I love the look. I want to spend like 0-700 max what’s the best bolt action for the money and what do I look for on the rifle, what do I need?

If money was no object what do you think would be the best rifle for deer/bear/moose/elk. I’ve been hearing alot of good things about the Remington 700 series, but they appear to be fairly cost effective, which makes me wonder why. Is there anything better than that? What are some good high end rifles? Also, let’s assume it’s for good/fair weather only, using the best ammo, best optics, etc…

I have a question for any registered FFL carrying person..?

I am interested in purchasing a rifle from a website, however the requirements for purchasing a firearm is that you must have a FFL or C&R License for that website…. My question is if I drove out to Dunhams Sports and gave them My money and they purchased it then once it is shipped to the store, they give it to me,am I breaking any law that could get me fined or that could et me sent to jail or whatever?

Penalties for illegal firearms sale in California, and am I likely to be charged/convicted?

An acquaintance had been given a handgun from someone fearing police, this person went to jail, and he was left with it. He came to me asking if he knew a way to get rid of it, he was scared to have it on him and didn’t care how little he got for it as long as it was gone. I took him to somewhere I knew it could be sold, made a deal, made some money, and said I never wanted to see him again. Two days later he approached me in public, his story was untrue, it was stolen from family and they needed it back. I got it back for them. About a month later, id heard nothing about it, detectives show up. My fingerprints are not on it, I can’t think of any other possible physical evidence, and the buyer is unknown, so it’s basically my word against theirs I think. I was questioned at home, but I think since I wasn’t arrested and they werent able to get a search warrant, there’s a lack of evidence or theres too much reasonable doubt ? Is it likely ill be charged, how bad could the penalty be?

Can anyone get an FFL? Or do you have to own a gun store or something? If so how would you go about doing it?
Is there any benefit to have an FFL or the Collectors license? like can you get cheaper prices or anything?
Yea basically I’m just trying to figure out a way to purchase guns online without the need of transferring the gun to an FFL dealer because I’m tying to save money and avoid the hassle of going through extra steps

How long did it take for you to retrieve your firearms license for Canada?

So I already passed my tests and I’ve sent my application in, I see that they already charged my credit card for the PAL fee. Does this mean I’m already accepted and they’re going to send me my license anytime soon? How long did it take for you to get yours in the mail?
