A few questions about FFL Licenses.?

I want to own a store where I can sell weapons, ammo, and also gunsmith. I realize that you have to have an FFL to sell firearms, but I have a few questions about an FFL. I see and hear everywhere about FFLs… from Classes I – III.

– How/where do I go to apply for an FFL?
– How difficult is it to obtain an FFL?
– From classes I-III… which is best?
– Should I apply for a Class III, and if so, is there a waiting
period after I get a Class I before I can get a Class III, and
are there only certain conditions under which you are able
to have a Class III FFL?

FFL Licensing Procedure?

I am interested in obtaining an FFL to become a dealer of rifles, shotguns, and handguns to supplament my income and as a hobby more or less. I have already ordered ATF Form 7 and fingerprint cards.

What other forms should I order?
How much does liability insurance cost for such a business?
How should I structure my business (sole proprietorship, LLC, etc?

What license do I need to obtain to purchase and own a AR-15 in the state of Utah.?

I’m dont have an FFL and I somewhat understand i’d have to have the rifle puchased/shipped to an authorised dealer, but after that do they just hand the gun over to me? Of course after paying all the necesary fee’s and what not. Dont need any stupid answers just one’s from people who actualy know what their talking about, Thank you in advance.

How can I get a FFL?

My buddy and I are gun collectors and have been for some time. We help friends with their guns (sighting, cleaning and basic gunsmithing) and we are constantly asked if they can have their online purchases sent to us. We don’t have a gunsmith license either. Can any of you please provide me with any info on what is needed to get a gunsmith license and an FFL. I’m pretty sure there is a a yearly fee for the FFL but I have no idea how much it is.

In Idaho, what are the laws reguarding the sale of firearms to other adults?

How old do you have to be to get a C & R Class 3 License?

I’m 18, can I get a C & R license?
My state law says I have to be 16 to purchase/own a rifle/pistol. Federal law makes it so that you have to be 18 to buy a rifle from an FFL, 21 for a pistol. If I can get a C&R license at 18, could I get a C&R certified pistol?

Are you required to have a Federal Firearms license to buy a machine gun?

I may have been given bad information, anybody know?
Ok looks like I have to add some details. I’m talking about like a AK-47, or like a Thompson submachine gun. I already know you can buy them, I just didn’t know weather or not a FFL is required.

How can I get a FFL to own an AK-47 legally?

shipping a firearm in the same state?

I have sold a firearm to Mr X who lives in the same state, Florida.
He wants me to send it to his home address, Mr X will supply a copy of his drivers license and Concealed Weapons Permit.
Is this legal? Or do I still have to send it to an FFL.
