I’m all for law abiding people owning guns. I have owned a gun since I was a kid and come from a gun culture. If a law abiding citizen wants to carry concealed and has jumped through all the hoops then great! Those people aren’t the problem.
The criminals that don’t abide by the law (and never will) are the problem. No amount of gun control is going to do away with them, in fact they are the ones that will benefit most from it! Are law makers that support clamping down on law abiding citizens who want to own guns are actually aiding and abetting criminals.
It is my belief that most street cops are fine with it. Some of your Chiefs and Administrators may voice opposition to it, but that is usually because their boss (i.e. the mayor) is a liberal with a problem about guns and they are using their Chief to combat that boogyman.

don’t know what a leos is but where ever there is a right to carry law there is lower crime
I will answer for all my Uncles. 9 say yes, 2 say no.
Every Officer in my family is for, except one.
Why not have concealed carry for law abiding citizens? Criminals never need a carry permit because they don’t care.
It’s safer with a concealed carry law, look at the stats.

but im not a fan of guns myself, but i believe everyone without a criminal background should be able to carry a concealed weapon. these days you kinda need one.
