I’d say it’s for protection but mostly I just want to have fun at a gun range with a stronger/heavier pistol or revolver that I can keep at home in a safe, (kinda like revolvers a bit more though) please recommend some good revolvers

My favorite is the Taurus Model 605 with a 4 inch barrel chambered in .357 Magnum.
Colt, Smith and Wesson, Ruger it depends on how much you want to spend.
Taurus makes a decent priced revolver.
Get a .357 mag and you can use .38 Special ammo as well.
Ruger, and S&W also make good revolvers, it just depemds on what you want to spend on a handgun.
I prefer semi-autos myself but, I wouldn’t turn down a Taurus/Ruger or a Smith revolver in .357 Mag.
smith and wesson .357 airweight, colt python .357, ruger security six .357
