I am planning on on taking a trip to Indiana for a trade that involves a fair amount of money, and I was wondering about protection. The money must be on my person (in cash, not in check form), and I am feeling a bit apprehensive about carrying an amount this large without any protection. I was wondering if my bodyguard is legally able to carry a concealed (on non-concealed) handgun on his person in Indiana. He has a valid carry permit in Tennessee, but I am not sure if that carries over to Indiana.
My question summed up; can my bodyguard, who has a valid license to carry concealed firearms (TN), carry a weapon for personal protection in the state of Indiana?
Thanks!
Haha, no, there isn’t anything to worry about. I’m buying a car, but I want to pay in cash so I don’t have to wait for my check to clear in order to obtain the title.

i would be more worried about any "deal" that requires a large sum of cash. if you are dealing with someone who you have to worry about your safety you are "dealing" with the wrong people.
Indiana will honor the TN concealed carry permit.
He has to register his permit upon arrival at the nearest police station.
So now Indiana now becomes TN ?? what state next ?
you have to research it. PA. for instance reciprocates with 5 other states but they are not contigious…so i would breaking the law driving across state lines with the weapon…but safe once i got to a partner state.
No it doesnt work that way. I learned that the hard way. I just moved back to arkansas from florida. I have a florida concealed handgun license. I was stopped in Memphis Tenn for speeding. My pistol was in the seat beside me. I got to kieep my pistol but had to dismantle and unload it and keep the gun and ammo in separate places in the car. Also got a $250 fine. When I went to court the judge dismissed it because I did have a Florida permit.
You can drive the whole way carrying concealed because both Kentucky and Indiana honor the TN permit.
No
Each state is sovereign in that regard
Your body guard has no right to carry a concealed weapon unless the states have cross boundary concealed gun agreements.
Peace

.
Really depends on the state or city. In Chicago for example: it is a falony to even own a hand gun not to mention walking around with one..
The first answer given by Mechnginear is correct. Your bodyguard or friend or brother or whoever is allowed to carry a concealed weapon in Indiana as long as his or her permit is valid. He does NOT have to check in with anybody upon entering the state of Indiana either. Carry permits issued in any of the United States will be honored.
