And can anyone get this license ? like a man want to have one in his home so no one can just get in and steal something ?

There is no such thing at least in the free states.
To buy a long gun (rifle or shotgun) you must be 18 years or older and meet some other criteria (i.e. not a convicted felon, no drug/alcohol addiction, etc.). To buy a pistol you need to be 21 years or older, you have to go by your sheriff’s department and fill out some paper work which states that the agency ran a check on you, you have met the three day wait period, and that you meet the other criteria (i.e. no drug/alcohol abuse, no mental illness, etc). After your three day wait period the sheriff’s office will give you a permit to buy a handgun that you will need to show to the dealer.
If you buy a gun from a private person you don’t have to go through any of the above (although it is illegal to sell a gun to someone that does not meet the age requirements and other restrictions). I can sell any of my guns anytime I want with no need for anyone to get any sort of permit.
There is no gun license.
If you want to carry a concealed firearm then you must get a concealed carry permit but that only applies to carrying it concealed off of your property. Many states allow open carry.
If you are over 18 without a felony conviction, just go in a store that sells guns. They have all the paperwork.
Technically, you can have a firearm in your home without any permits at all; this is guaranteed by the Constitution. The problems start if you carry you gun outside your home, and that’s where local authorities require gun permits. Ask your local police dept, or even better, a hunting supply store.
Anyone who is 18 (21 for handguns), is not a criminal (minor offenses not involving violence don’t count) and has not been in a mental institution can buy and carry a gun openly except in some cities. Some states register firearms owners, but the identity card is easy to get if you meet those requirements. Carry permits for concealed handguns are easily obtained in some places and impossible to obtain in others (each state and city makes its own laws). You do not need such a permit to keep a gun in your home (or your car in some states).

If you have a clean record you can buy a rifle or shotgun when you turn 18.
For a pistol though, SOME states require a permit to purchase. You can buy a handgun at 18 from another adult(private citizen or family) but you will have to wait until 21 before you can purchase from a licensed federal dealer(gun shop).
The requirement to get a "firearm license" differs from state-to-state and there are special requirements for certain cities/counties.

Some cities in states which do not allow you to have a firearm without a firearms license may prohibit the possession of certain firearms while allowing others.
It also makes a difference based on your age and whether you are a U.S. citizen, legal resident, etc.
Without knowing where you are living, age, and status, an accurate answer regarding "your" getting a "firearm license" cannot be accurately answered.
Just to add a bit to the others even if a permit is not needed the weapon might need to be registered. The weapons serial number and your name needs to be on file with the authorities. Also, in the case of a handgun where a permit is required you might need to take a course in the use of a handgun and the laws restricting its use to obtain the permit.
It all depends on the state you are in, everyone has different rules. Some places you have to have them registered others you need a permit others you need nothing. You have to wait a couple of days typically before you get a handgun. Long Guns (Rifles) are much easier to get. But like I said every state and area varies. I live in NYC and its almost impossible to legally get a hand gun
Depends on the state, Nebraska, a long gun (rifle or shotgun) anyone can buy if they are A. Over the age of 18, and B. Have a clean record.
To get a Pistol you need to get a hand gun purchase permit, that takes five minutes at your local sheriff’s office to fill out the work and they’ll generally let you know later in the day when it has come back from the state police. And you have to be 21 to get that. To get concealed carry you pay 200 dollars, then you go to a class and then they give you your permit.
As for New Jersey, you must first pay 60+ dollars in fees to the police and FBI for a background check, wait 4-6 months for them to do said check, and issue you a long gun permit. Then if you want a pistol permit you have to pay even more, take a class and then wait until an act of congress gets you the permit. Concealed carry is an act of the holy father himself.
