even just showing or make your gun visible, you can be charged for making a thread. your ‘hard to get’ licence and your expensive gun gone to police station for good. and jail for you.

if you like shooting, just join shooting club if you got money. if you dont, just join rela or wataniah regimen. they rela & wataniah) got shooting practice time to time. at shooting club, u can shoot as u like but ofcourse with some the term and cond.
Apply for one at the Ministry of Internal Security. Its not as easy to obtain, though. Read the link for more info:

p/s Are you sure you want to get one here in Malaysia? Its a really, really big responsibility…
I have a Ruger P97 Semi-auto 9mm and a Colt AR7 . 270mm.
It is difficult for you to obtain a license. The process will take 1.5 years for the police to do a background check. However, if you could prove to them that you know how to handle a gun, that would be best. I have a permit and some competition recognition from the US. I took that in to prove my gun handling ability. That shortens the process. They would even allow you to bring in your own firearm with proper registration.
You cant. we do want another cowboy ran loose…
Its much easier than before. Gotta have a minimum RM6000 monthly income, & good reason.
Ehhh….what for? No need lah. I thought you already have something like a baseball bat which you kept in your car? In case you want some cheap thrills to be a road bully (again)?
