Here is where to go for information on FFL’s: http://www.atf.gov/firearms/fflc/index.htm
However, other than a C & R license for collectors you can only get an FFL if you are engaged in the business (have a gun store). You cannot get one just to buy guns for yourself and your friends.
Call your local gun shop and ask them to do a transfer for you, then send the contact info for your local gun shop to the online retailer. You do not need an FFL to order guns online, but you do need to have one receive the gun for you.

They can only ship the firearms to a FFL, you don’t require one, just the person that transfers it to you. You need to talk to a gunshop near you and get them to give you a copy of their FFL or send one tho the online retailer. You then buy the gun and have it shipped to your local gunshop, where they have you to pay them a transfer fee. then you fill out the paperwork and have a background check ran. If it all checks out, you are then given the firearm
