I know their are tons of american gun companies, but how many of them make their guns here? I hear remington has done some outsourcing to turkey, weatherbys are made in japan along with some Browning’s, winchesters are made in europe and japan. I think that rugers are the only ones left(I hope I am wrong), do you know of any others?

Mossberg
Henry, Savage, Marlin, Jarrett, Ed Brown customs. And plenty more im sure.
You’d be surprised to hear that I think plenty of rifles are still made here. Some parts need to be outsourced because you can’t justify a production line for every nut and bolt that goes into a rifle but when it comes to the main components most are made here. So, when your question asks entirely, I say not really. But if you are willing to settle for most, I say plenty.
I’m not trying to be overly optimistic on the subject but I hear you and choose Ruger substantially more often for this very reason. Still, I want to stick up for some very good gunmakers out there. I like American jobs and quality as much as you but there are many good gunmakers making good guns. Makers like FN and Taurus have done some very good work and I wouldn’t feel remorse for owning one of their products.
Just to answer the question, I’ll say Ruger keeps it domestic, Marlin does too, Henry advertises it as one of their main selling points, Remington (if you say they are outsourcing I’ll believe you but I’ll still say I’m buying American when I buy Remingotn), H&R, Mossberg and, many, many more.
